Nashi Argan cares about nature
Landoll, the owner of the Nashi Argan brand, has taken the path to become an active enterprise since 2005: a dynamic and modern company that stands out for its offer of social sustainable and high-quality products. Every year, the company invests in research and development in order to reduce the use of resources that may cause environment depletion to a minimum.
CLEAN ENERGY FOR YOUR BEAUTY
All energy employed in Landoll’s production sites comes from internal renewable resources. The firm holds the Workshop Licence for the Production of Electricity and, in June 2012, it completed the photovoltaic installation in the production site of the Lombardy region, which ensures the entire provision of the energy necessary for the production of the Nashi Argan line.
The photovoltaic installation transforms sunlight into electricity with a power of 108 KWp. Landoll produces 120.000 Kwh/year and makes a contribution to the reduction of the pollution, such as carbon dioxide (70 tons/year), nitrogen oxide (NOx 150 kg/year) and sulphur dioxide (145 kg/year), which are one of the main causes of the greenhouse effect and acid rain. This installation avoids the use of other forms of energy; in particular way, solar energy allows saving annually 23 tons of oil equivalent. Furthermore, the amount of consumed energy is reduced to a minimum, giving preference to cold processing. All liquids used in processing are collected in specific tanks for the processing of certified companies.
The containers used for the largest part of the Nashi Argan line are made of glass or RPET, recycled from post-consumer waste. All communication materials, like boxes and leaflets of the line are made from Flora paper, recycled from post-consumer waste by ISO and FSC certified company.
All Nashi Argan products contain certified organic Argan Oil and certified organic Linseed Oil and they do not contain any Sulphates, Phosphates, Parabens and Sodium Chloride. This information is mentioned on every packaging together with INCI’s list of the product to allow the greatest possible transparency of information. The company complies with a rigid process of selection and utilisation of raw materials, giving preference to the best performances of the product which shall meet the needs of a professional market.
Therefore, formulas use natural raw materials, in full compliance with the latest and safest components of the chemical industry.
